Yes, you can. Please note that the voucher balance must cover the total amount to be paid in the shopping basket. If this is not the case, top up the voucher accordingly or redeem it at a ticket counter.
Enter the voucher number and the CVV code and complete the purchase by clicking ‘Pay’.
Redemption in the SBB Mobile app:
Select the desired ticket.
Tap on the button on the lower left-hand side to select the payment method.
Tap on ‘Enter new payment method’.
Select ‘Public transport voucher’.
Enter the voucher number and the CVV code.
Tap on ‘Continue’ and complete the purchase as usual.
Tip: Save your voucher as a payment method so you don’t have to type in the voucher number again every time you make a purchase.

Please keep hold of the voucher and store it safely. The voucher number and CVV code are encrypted when you save them and cannot be viewed in full. You will need these details to check your balance, to top up the voucher and in the event of a refund.

The physical voucher card can also be used to make payments at SBB ticket machines or on the train by holding the card up to the payment card terminal. This is not possible with digital vouchers.
You can top up your voucher online up to a balance of CHF 3,000. You can use another voucher as a payment method for the top-up. (This allows you to load different vouchers with smaller amounts onto a single voucher). You can also use any other payment method recognised by SBB.
