  • Mobile app doesn’t consider local travelcard?

Hello everyone, I noticed today that the mobile app sometimes doesn’t consider that a part of the itinerary is already covered by a local travelcard. I want to travel from Lucerne Station to my address in Zurich. I have a Half-Fare card and a ZVV pass, both in course of validity and on my Swisspass, visible in the app. If I look for the entire itinerary, the app suggests IR75 to Zurich HB and then tram n. 3, and the price for a ticket is 15.40 CHF. But if I look for the itinerary to Zurich HB it suggests the same IR75 train for a price of 13.50 CHF. As I already have a ZVV pass, the app should offer, in the ticket selection for the entire trip, only the ticket for the Lucerne-Zurich HB leg, for 13.50, not 15.40. Below are relevant screenshots from the app:

  • ZVV Zone travelcard plus Easyride

I have a ZVV local zone travelcard, this is loaded onto my swisspass and SBB app, this means that when I use easyride, the price is calculated after the benefit of the local travelcard is deducted. All so far so good.
My question is, if I make a small local journey (Zurich city centre tram) which is fully covered by the travelcard, do I still need to swipe in using Easyride (for nil cost) or is the fact that I own the travelcard enough? I dont want to risk getting it wrong in case of a control…!
    Thank you.

  • 24h Ticket question on the number of zones

Hello, I’d like to ask if I understand correctly what kind of 24h Ticket I have to buy for the following situation:
In one day we need to travel from Zurich airport (121) to Schwerzenbach (121), from Schwerzenbach (121) to Seegraeben (130, 131, 132), from Seegraeben (132) to Zurich (131, 130, 121, 110), from Zurich (110) to Schwerzenbach (121). Do I understand it correctly that I can buy a 24 Ticket for 5 zones? The same situation if in a day we need to travel Schwerzenbach (121) - Zurich (110) - Kilchberg (150) - Zurich Buerkliplatz See by boat (110) - a bit in Zurich - Zurich HB - Zurich airport (121). Can I then buy 24h Ticket for 4 zones? It’s possible to buy it either in advance or just before the start of the trip. There’d be no difference? Kind regards,
    Julia
