Registering for monthly invoicing.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign into SBB.ch with your SwissPass login and open your profile: go to Profile.
  2. Click on ‘Payment methods’, select ‘Monthly invoice (via CembraPay)’ and then click on ‘Enter payment method’.
  3. Confirm the contact details shown are correct or update them if necessary. 
  4. You will now be redirected to the CembraPay platform. Follow the subsequent instructions to complete your registration.

You can purchase almost all the offers available on SBB.ch or SBB Mobile using monthly invoicing from payment provider CembraPay. This means you don’t have to save a credit card.

  • Technical error

    On May 29, 2025, I registered as a visitor and bought an 8-day Swiss Travel Pass. When I made the payment, I received a technical error warning from the site. However, my bank says the payment was approved. No information was sent to the email address I provided. Please help.

  • Cancellation of a Surcharge

    I paid for a second class upgrade instead of a supersaver ticket. But i did not miss my trip. I wanted to make a payment for a trip from Geneva to Fribourg (Today, 16.01.25 - 6:35-8:02 / Direction Lausanne). The amount for the Supersaver (61.60 CHF) was indeed the same as that for the class upgrade (62 CHF). I made a mistake; can the money be paid in place of the Supersaver? The agent on the train gave me an invoice showing that my ticket is not valid. I am a student, I did not intend to have an invalid ticket. What can i do in this situation?
