Here’s how it works:

Click on Change details to change your personal address. It’s quick and easy.

There are two ways that you can change your name.

Independent customisation in the customer account (free of charge):
Sign in to your customer account at swisspass.ch. Select “Customer data” in the top right under your initials. Then, under “Personal details”, click on “Change” and “Start identity check”.
You will automatically receive a SwissPass card with your new name. The card is free of charge and will be sent to you by post.

At a public transport point of sale (subject to charge):
Have your name changed at a Travel Centre. Please bring a valid official ID with you. The SwissPass replacement card costs CHF 30 and will be sent to you by post.

Yes, your SwissPass remains valid. However, if you frequently buy tickets in the SBB Mobile app or via SBB.ch, we recommend that you order a replacement card. This makes it easier to check your ticket on the train.

If you change your name yourself in your customer account on swisspass.ch (see question ”How do I change my name?”), the replacement card is free of charge. If you apply for a name change at an SBB Travel Centre, the replacement card costs CHF 30.

ACCOUNT THEFT

Hello, I have bought a train ticket with my account but it wasn’t me. I can’t find any way to cancel the ticket and find out who bought it. I am Spanish and I went to Switzerland in summer. Could someone help me to solve the problem.

Linking Swiss Travel Pass tickets to swisspass profile

Hi, How can I link the Swiss Travel Pass tickets, (that I did not purchase through swisspass.ch, but have purchased on SBB.ch before I made a profile on swisspass.ch) to my profile on swisspass.ch app? When I made a profile on swisspass.ch so I can access the app on my phone, I did not find a way to link my existing tickets to that profile. Is there a way to do that? Btw, many websites allow that, for example United Airlines: when you purchase a ticket through any agent (not directly with United.com), you can always link that ticket to your profile on United.com by using the ticket locator code. Thanks!

Linking or adding tickets that were bought as a guest cannot be added to an existing SwissPass account at a later stage. This is for security reasons. You can, however, present your tickets as PDF documents that you previously saved on your mobile phone or sent as e-mail. Keep in mind that for the ticket check, it is mandator to carry your passport or your state ID card, or driver’s license physically with you. Passport photo copies or photos of it are not accepted. No surname in passport
