  • Refund of duplicate tickets

Hello everyone, I booked a train ticket from Paris to Zurich through SNCF. When I paid for the ticket the website told me that the ticket I was buying has expired already because it took me so long to pay for it. So I waited for an hour just to see if SNCF will send a confirmation that the sale has gone through. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a confirmation received. So I did the process of buying the ticket and it went through. The next day I end up having two tickets on the same train, same time but different seats. I was requesting for a refund for either one set of the tickets since one of them is redundant.
the reason SBB is involved, The train journey was split into three. Paris-mulhouse ville, mulhouse ville - Basel sbb, Basel sbb-Zurich HB, the last leg is SBB CFF FFS. I paid all of this to SNCF and I requested a refund and they said that they can only refund the first two legs of the trip because it is their train and will be penalized as per T&C. The last leg is SBB.
    I understand the T&C.
My question is: Can you (SNCF and SBB CFF FFS) make an exemption to reimburse me fully since no one is ever going to use the other set of tickets?

What are the refund rules for Swiss Travel Pass Flex, for cancelling before travel has commenced? Full 100% refund possible?

  • Is it possible to transfer Swiss Travel Passes to another traveler

Our son purchased our two Swiss Travel Passes for us, along with his own Pass. So he has three Passes in his account. Is it possible for him to transfer our Passes to my husband and me so we can access them on our phones, in our individual SBB accounts? If not, should we have him cancel the order, and then purchase our passes individually so we can have them in our own accounts and access them in the phone app while travelling? Thank you!
