Refund request for a GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard due to accident or illness.
Did you have an accident or become ill and were/are unable to use your GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard? If so, you can submit a refund request. Simply fill out the form to do so.
Tip: If you have a GA Travelcard, you can deposit it for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days per travelcard year while you are unable to travel.
How to deposit a GA TravelcardBefore you start:
- You must be unable to travel for a minimum of five days; there is no upper limit to the length of travel incapacity.
- You need a medical certificate that confirms your travel incapacity (being unable to work is not enough).
- You can submit a refund request due to temporary travel incapacity up to a maximum of 30 days following the date that your travel incapacity ended (for example, if you were unable to travel from 1 to 15 June 2023, you must submit your refund request no later than 14 July 2023).
- For a refund request due to permanent travel incapacity, you must submit your refund request no later than one year following the beginning of your travel incapacity.
- The refund will be pro-rated, minus a deductible of CHF 10, and will be credited to an IBAN account or the SwissPass account.
