How to deposit a GA Travelcard

Before you start:

  • You must be unable to travel for a minimum of five days; there is no upper limit to the length of travel incapacity.
  • You need a medical certificate that confirms your travel incapacity (being unable to work is not enough).
  • You can submit a refund request due to temporary travel incapacity up to a maximum of 30 days following the date that your travel incapacity ended (for example, if you were unable to travel from 1 to 15 June 2023, you must submit your refund request no later than 14 July 2023).
  • For a refund request due to permanent travel incapacity, you must submit your refund request no later than one year following the beginning of your travel incapacity.
  • The refund will be pro-rated, minus a deductible of CHF 10, and will be credited to an IBAN account or the SwissPass account.
