Cancellation of travelcards in the event of death.

We offer our condolences for your loss and would like to make it as easy as possible for you to cancel travelcards in these circumstances. You can use this cancellation form to cancel all active travelcards belonging to the person who has died.

Before you start:

  • GA and Half-Fare travelcards are refunded/credited to an IBAN account.
  • Other travelcards purchased at the station or online will be credited to the payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • If this is not (or no longer) possible and the deceased person also had a GA Travelcard or Half Fare Travelcard, reimbursement will be made to an IBAN account.
  • In other cases, reimbursement will be made by means of a prepaid card sent by post to the heir(s).
Do you use a screen reader? If you have a problem sending the form, you can also contact us by telephone: SBB Contact Center Handicap, tel. 0800 007 102 (toll-free in Switzerland.), every day from 6am to 10.30pm.
