The maximum number of monthly instalments for a ‘Reminder before start of debt collection procedure’ is 24; in the case of a debt collection procedure, the maximum is 12. Payment in instalments is not possible in the case of seizure.

Request for retraction of debt collection procedure.

To initiate a retraction of a debt collection procedure, you must have paid the SBB claim that you wish to retract in full. We will evaluate your request and send you an invoice for the retraction fee of CHF 50 after we have verified it. After we receive your retraction fee payment, we will request the retraction of the debt collection procedure and its deletion from the debt collection register. As soon the retraction process has been initiated, we will send you written confirmation by post.
