traveling with children younger than 6, need for reservation?

Hello, our group will be traveling with 2 children younger than 6 years old. As we are interested in the Gotthard panoramic express, will we need to also get seat reservations for them - since they do not pay for their ticket? Do not want to end up in a situation where they have to share our seats just because I didn't reserve/pay for them. Also, I am considering the first class Swiss pass because firstly, the Gotthard express requires first class tickets anyway and also secondly, my main concern is not getting seats on busy rides or not getting seats as a family. This is considering the fact I have 2 young children and luggages, it is preferable we seat together. My itinerary is as such - Zurich > Lucerne > Lugano (via Gotthard express) > Grindewald > Zurich. Is the first class pass worth it? Thank you in advance for any advice!

    Friends Day Pass for Youth

Hello! We are a group of 3 friends under the age of 25 who is planning to travel in Switzerland at 4th of July. I am wondering if there is a quota for the ''Friends Day Pass for Youth''. So, do we have to buy it individually or one ticket is enough for 3 of us?

Question on "Friends Day Pass for Youth" promotion

Hi,I'm from abroad and am planning a graduation trip to Swiss in July. I have two questions related to the "Friends Day Pass for Youth" promotion:Is the area of validity of this ticket the same with Swiss Travel Pass? I notice that Swiss Travel Pass mentions it includes Rigi mountain excursion and discounts on some other mountain excursions. But I'm not sure whether "Friends Day Pass for Youth" includes this since its description webpage is brief. Can you explain the validity difference between these two passes? Are foreigners eligible to buy the "Friends Day Pass for Youth"? Say if I have a group of 4 under 25, what documents do I need to buy this pass? I know the pass can be bought online after 6.1. Just want to double-check in advance to better make my decision.Thank you so much in advance!! Best wishes 🙂
