  • Night GA for traveling outside of Switzerland

I’ve booked a ticket from zurich to Milan that leaves after 7pm, so the travel part that is in Switzerland would be covered by my Night GA. However when booking the ticket (to have a seat reservation for the whole trip) I had to book it from Zurich and not just from Como. However for some reason my Night GA travelcard was not considered in the pricing so I selected that i have a GA second class travelcard (since the Night GA was not an option in the dropdown), but now I am wondering if that ticket is still valid for me since i don’t have the GA travelcard but the Night GA travelcard. • Price of GA Duo for U25

    Hi,
Me and my girlfriend will move under the same roof and are both under 25. I didn’t understand from the website what’s the most convenient way to have two GA for our case. Does GA Duo have a different price for young people? I only see the 2860CHF/y, which is higher than just buying a normal GA Young at 2780CHF/y. Also can we have access to GA Family even if we’re not married and have no children? Would I pay the normal 2780 and she would pay just 970? Thank you.

  • Seeking Advice: Refund for Disrupted Trains – Sept 22 & 24

Hi everyone, I recently returned from a trip and am hoping for advice on requesting a refund for two seriously disrupted journeys:
    • Sept 22 – Zürich HB to Milan Central: The train unexpectedly stopped at Chiasso, two stops early, with no prior notice. I had to arrange my own transport to Milan at significant cost.
    • Sept 24 – Milan Central to Zürich HB: The train was completely cancelled without any prior warning. I was traveling alone, and both situations caused considerable stress and unexpected expenses. Has anyone successfully requested a refund in situations like this? What’s the best approach to ensure SBB takes the disruption and associated costs seriously? Thanks so much for any guidance! Maya
