The Leisure Pass is a time-limited special offer. It is currently not available. It enables you to travel on 10 freely selectable days on routes in the GA Travelcard area of validity (1st or 2nd class).

The Leisure Pass is not part of the standard range.

The Leisure Pass is available in two variants:

• 2nd class: CHF 450 for 10 days of travel (CHF 45 per day)
• 1st class: CHF 630 for 10 days of travel (CHF 63 per day)

The Leisure Pass was available from 5 January 2026 to 3 February 2026.

You can use the travel days until 31 December 2026 by activating your ten chosen calendar days. Any travel days not used by this date will expire (exception: incapacity to travel).

The Leisure Pass is valid only with a Half Fare Travelcard. On the travel days, you must be able to present a valid Half Fare Travelcard. Like the Half Fare Travelcard, the Leisure Pass is exclusively available on the SwissPass.

As soon as the Leisure Pass goes on sale, you can buy it via the sales channels listed and pay using the respective payment method.

Please note: it is not possible to pay using Half Fare Travelcard PLUS credit.

No. The Leisure Pass is not available for children or dogs. The existing range of products enables children and dogs to travel at a lower price.

You can activate travel days yourself in your SwissPass account at swisspass.ch. You can choose whichever calendar days you want. An activated travel day is valid for journeys until 5am on the following day on all routes in the GA Travelcard area of validity.

Please note: for activation, you will need to open a personal SwissPass account using your customer number (format: 000-000-000-0) at swisspass.ch, if you have not already done so.

The Leisure Pass is valid on travel days on routes in the GA Travelcard area of validity. 

If you would like to use the Leisure Pass and a valid Half Fare Travelcard to travel outside the GA Travelcard area of validity, you can buy tickets at a discounted price.

With a Leisure Pass and a valid Half Fare Travelcard for 2nd class, you can purchase the following class upgrades at a discounted price:

• 1-day Class Upgrade.
• Route-specific (Supersaver) Class Upgrade.

Yes, you can take a bicycle with you. However, you need a separate ticket for it and a bike space reservation.

Yes. You can buy additional RailAway services with the Leisure Pass.

Yes, travel days can be deactivated in your SwissPass account until 11.59pm the evening before.

Exception for incapacity to travel: activated travel days which have not been used due to an incapacity to travel can be deactivated retroactively at a staffed public transport point of sale – but only upon presentation of a medical certificate which includes the remark ‘Unable to travel’.

No. Each Leisure Pass is personal. You cannot activate travel days for other people.

No. The Leisure Pass cannot be exchanged, refunded or deposited. Travel days which you have not used by 31 December 2026 will expire (exception: incapacity to travel, see above).

Exception: If you are unable to travel (with a medical certificate which includes the remark ‘Unable to travel’), travel days which you have activated but not used can be deactivated retroactively at a staffed point of sale.

No. If you would like to travel with a Leisure Pass as part of a group, you will not automatically be counted as part of the group but you must buy a group ticket. In this case, your Half Fare Travelcard will be valid as a discount card.
