Hello, I have a question regarding the refund policy for the Saver Day Pass. In the refund policy, it states, "If a passenger subsequently purchases a GA Travelcard or a point-to-point Travelcard in their own name, supersaver tickets and Saver Day Passes are refunded without incurring a fee." I'm wondering if this also applies when purchasing a Swiss Travel Card instead of a GA Travelcard.
Does modular travelcard include unlimited travel in the zones included?
Hello, I have a monthly modular travelcard from "Lausanne, Languedoc" to "Sion". On my SBB mobile app, it just says monthly modular travelcard from A to B. On the swisspass website under "travelcards", it says "Zones 11 12" under "fare network". My question, does this mean my modular travelcard include unlimited travels in zones 11 12 of the Mobilis network or just from point A (Lausanne, Languedoc) to point B (Sion)? Thank you very much for your time in answering this question.
Hi @yh2911Link opens in new window. The advantage of the modular abo is the combined fare network ticket and point-to-point ticket. You are entitled to unlimited travel within Mobilis zones 11 and 12, as well as between Lausanne and Sion.Hence, in a nutshell, yes your assumption was right.Best regards,Roland
Hi guys. I live in the Netherlands and plan to travel to Swiss in December. I bought a 2nd-class swiss travel pass (4 days, consecutive) and used it to reserve a 1st-class classic glacier express seat, from Zermatt to St. Moritz. (only paid seat fees CHF 39). I try to pay the upgrade fees on sbb.ch, and see the point-to-point class upgrade, but I didn't find the swiss travel pass option among discounted cards. Could I choose the half-fare travelcard?
Hi @gydhekaiLink opens in new window. You can simply buy a point-to-point class upgrade using the Half Fare Card option. For the Swiss Travel Pass, and besides the point-to-point upgrade, it is also possible to buy a Supersaver Class Upgrade or Day Class Upgrade, what ever is cheaper. The Swiss Travel Pass benefits from the same advantages as the GA travel card for residents.https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/class-upgrades-supersaver-class-upgrades.htmlA small side note: our country is named Switzerland, the people living here are Swiss 🙂Happy travels,Roland
