Rental process and billing.
Start the rental process by holding your SwissPass up to the designated symbol on the bicycle lock. The lock will open and you can rent the bicycle. After your journey, you will pay conveniently using the payment method saved in your profile on SBB.ch.
No. If you have already saved your SwissPass as an access medium for an existing PubliBike Velospot account, the journey will continue to be billed via this account.
You can order a SwissPass free of charge at swisspass.ch.
You may not yet have an SBB profile. To do so, log in to SBB.ch or in to the SBB Mobile app using your SwissPass login and save a payment method.
Your SwissPass may be blocked from using the service because it was not possible for an earlier journey to be billed. Check the validity of your payment method in your profile on SBB.ch.
No. It is currently not possible to pay for PubliBike Velospot services with your Half Fare Travelcard PLUS credit.
The following payment methods are accepted: credit card, PostFinance Card / PostFinance Pay, Twint.
Purchase by invoice and payment by Reka-Card are not possible.

No. To use the ‘Your bike at the station’ offer in Meilen / Feldmeilen, Brugg / Windisch, Delémont and Solothurn, you need a PubliBike Velospot subscription.
