This type of fleet operates on all long-distance traffic lines in Switzerland up to the foot-of-the-Jura line. It runs on the north-south corridor from Basel SBB to Ticino (Chiasso) via Lucerne and on the east-west corridor from Konstanz / Romanshorn / St. Gallen to Geneva Airport via Zurich and Bern. These coaches also operate on the Basel – Zurich, Zurich – Schaffhausen, Zurich – Chur, Basel SBB – Bern Interlaken / Brig and Brig – Geneva Airport lines. In international traffic, these coaches are used for services to Hamburg, Stuttgart and Munich.
