  • Advice for overall cheapest tickets for 3 journeys.

Hello everyone, I’ll be visiting Switzerland on a months time with my family, and I need some advice on which tickets I should get, since we have decided to travel around by train instead of leasing a car. We have plans for the following three journeys:
    Basel EuroAirport, Ankunft to St-Ursanne
Single journey Basel, Bahnhof SBB,Delémont. Fri, 07.08.2026 dep 16:37 St-Ursanne to Locarno
Single journey Delémont,Basel SBB,Bellinzona. Sun, 09.08.2026 dep 9:50 (with the plans to go to Spruga afterwards with the bus, just haven’t decided whether we will take a couple of hours in Locarno first) Spruga to Milano Centrale
via Locarno, Lugano. Sa, 15.08.2026. Departure: 08:24 I can’t figure out whether it is worth it to buy the “halfprice”-card for me and my wife or not. All help is appreciated. 🙂 Best,
    Oliver.

  • DUO DAY PASS

    Hello everyone,
Deindeal is currently running a promotion for the Duo Day-pass, at 129 chf (1st class) for two people.
It mentions “One person must hold a Half Fare Travelcard.”
Half Fare Card is for residents while Swiss half fare card( 150 chf for one month) is for tourists.
So does this promotion also apply to foreign tourists holding the Swiss Half Fare Card?
And what is the difference between Duo Day Pass and Swiss Travel Pass?
    Thank you.

  • Travel from Zurich airport to Friedrichshafen

Hello everyone, I would very much appreciate some advice on how to travel by public transport from Zurich airport to Friedrichshafen in Germany. Our plane is due in to Zurich at 14:20 so I would like to know what kind of ticket I can buy that is the cheapest for our family, which is two adults, two 13 year olds and one 15 year old. I am concerned that we don’t know exactly how long it will take to get from the airport to the train and that there is a possibility of delays, so are the tickets flexible? We will need to get back to the airport for our return 8 days later for a flight at 19:15, but we would be happy to arrive earlier in the day. Many thanks in advance!
